James’ Mission Sept ‘24 - Sept ‘26 San Pablo Philippines

Hey everyone happy pday😊 This week is the first week that I honestly cant think of anything to talk about. like the title says, we had a mission tour and Elder Revillio and his wife came to give us talks but I cant remember anything they were talking about. Elder Revillio's wife was a crazy filipino and was just grilling the whole mission her whole talk. I didn't feel the spirit once lol. Im prolly just salty tho cuz she grilled me in front of the WHOLE mission lol. Other than that life is good. like I said I cant remember a thing that happened this week. Ive been running on 1000 pesos (20$) for the last week and we still have 8 days till we get paid. We travel so far every day and its so expensive Ive had like 1 or 2 full days of work so far this whole cycle. We had a baptism this week! I love being a missionary😉 Please Email me🙏🥹

guys I made it. my new area (Malinao) is the most beautiful place that I have ever seen its actually insane.🤤 Im in the middle of a forest, theres rice fields everywhere, and the work here is amazing. ⛰️ I'll just start by saying my new comp, Elder Fernandez is a goat. he is an absolute grinder and I cant wait to go crazy this cycle. we have 7 people on date, 2 of which are being baptized next week. my new zone is the best zone in the mission were averaging 1.0 baptisms per missionary per cycle and apparently, if everything goes right, were supposed to be at 2.0 this cycle. thats 4 baptisms per companionship per cycle its actually insane. the work here is amazing and I understand why my zone is so good. Im coming from lipa (a massive city) to Malinao (a straight forest) and I testify that the more beautiful the area, the better the work haha. me and my comp play basketball every morning🎉🥳 Im finally getting to play basketball I think I played once or twice in my whole 3 cyc...

Like I said last week... it was grind week this week😁 and it went really well! Honestly didn't grind like crazy but hey we had a good week. We definitely worked harder this week and ended up getting 13 new people but a whopping 2 PSM🥲 I genuinely thought we were gonna have at least 5 and our goal was 7, but hey it is what it is🫠 Highlight of the week was our baptisms fr. We had 3 baptisms this week and they are people that I have been teaching for a while that are finally ready to get dunked🌊 you love to see it. 3 baptisms before I get transferred aye🥳 Since we all think Im leaving next cycle (me and the ward) we've had dinner literally every single night haha im getting fed out here. Idk if I've said this yet but im getting fatttt. Ive gained 13 lbs in 4 months haha currently at 175 and made of straight rice🤣🫡 on a real note tho if I do get transferred, ima miss this ward its like family. This week was basic. I don't have too much to talk about so this email won't be too long🫢 First off. Life is crazy. I know Im not home but all the homies are getting out on missions and it makes me so happy. Shoutout to kacee and jackson who both just got their calls. Crazy stuff. miss yall and im excited for you guys☺️ I really have friends all over the world right now🌎 We had zone con and ofc it was lit. Got to see a bunch of the homies again that was sick. Not much happened at zone con but it's chill hanging w the homies is worth. I've been here for 3 cycles haha so that was my third zone con in the same area so im excited to experience a new zone con. Me and Elder cook have this inside joke that we're getting sent out to the most beautiful area in the mission with white beaches and jungles and its getting white washed (that means 2 new missionaries) We even texted the APs so its happening trust. Aye whats good😜 Another week down out here in the pines, and it was a great one. A lot of great things happened this week so I hope yall read this one. First of all, I have a new best friend out here his names edward or "phil" (he wants me to call him phil🤷🏽😂). He owns this cat cafè and hes a dawg. I dont remember if I wrote about it but a couple of weeks ago I met him on an exchange and I finally went back. The second I walked in he was so happy and he goes "ayo, is that my homie?"🤣 Bro gave us free hot chocolate, brownies, and adobo hes such a homie. He was telling me about his life how he was in the navy, and how he hoops everyday on like a professional team he said hes a knockdown shooter haha this guys like 40💀😂😂😂 he said hes split from his family but you could never tell this dude is like the happiest guy I know and he was just giving me advice haha.
