James’ Mission Sept ‘24 - Sept ‘26 San Pablo Philippines

Hey everybody! Another week has somehow gone by! The time here isn't real. I feel like I've been here for 6 weeks and only a couple of days at the same time. I'm having a great time here. It's actually been super fun. This week things have finally started to slow down and I have had lots of time to do stuff. I've been playing lots of basketball and volleyball which has been soooo fun! I know it's only been two weeks but I think we're all starting to get on eachothers nerves because we are with each other all day every single day. We are also super bored because every day is the same so sometimes we goof off a little too much hahaha. We went to the temple to do endowments today and it was amazing. I missed doing endowments so much and the Mt. Timp temple is so beautiful. I would strongly suggest anyone who hasn't been in a while to go because I felt the spirit super strongly today and I know it can bring so many blessings into our lives. Going to the Mt....

Kamusta po kayo! this is my very first email and I dont even know where to start. this week has been so fun I actualy love it here so much. my district is so amazing and weve been getting to know eachother very well. I am extremely blessed because I can definately see how much the MTC would suck without alll of my new friends that Ive made. (I don't think that ive ever showered next to someone and had a full on conversation with them 2 days after meeting them)😂 no but seriously Ive already made some of the best friends that I will definately have for the rest of my life. this week has been full of learning and spiritual moments. Its actually insane how much closer I am to god just after a couple of days. I have learned so many new things espesially in tagalog. The language has been so fun and its honestly what keeps me sane here. I love learning new words and even though im nowhere near fluent, I feel like I have been learning alot.
