Love Everyone!! (Week 2)

Hey everybody! Another week has somehow gone by! The time here isn't real. I feel like I've been here for 6 weeks and only a couple of days at the same time. I'm having a great time here. It's actually been super fun. This week things have finally started to slow down and I have had lots of time to do stuff. I've been playing lots of basketball and volleyball which has been soooo fun! I know it's only been two weeks but I think we're all starting to get on eachothers nerves because we are with each other all day every single day. We are also super bored because every day is the same so sometimes we goof off a little too much hahaha. We went to the temple to do endowments today and it was amazing. I missed doing endowments so much and the Mt. Timp temple is so beautiful. I would strongly suggest anyone who hasn't been in a while to go because I felt the spirit super strongly today and I know it can bring so many blessings into our lives. Going to the Mt. Timp temple is always super weird because sometimes I forget that I'm really not that far from home and it makes me kinda homesick to see the mountains I would see everyday at home and so many other familiar things. shoutout to one of my best friends mason. He left the MTC last tuesday and that was sad but it's good to know that me and him will pretty much be experiencing the same things in the Philippines. It was good to see him for a week. I hope he's doing good in Manila and I can't wait to see him and all my friends again in 2! Even though I am on a mission I still hear alot about the things that are going on in real life, and how about the seahawks!! 3-0 were gonna win the super bowl this year hahaha. We got some new teachers this week that are Co-teaching with our other teachers and I don't know how I feel about that. I love our teachers so much and I realize how blessed we were because our new teachers are nowhere near as good (no offense). I felt the spirit so strong in my class on Thursday morning with Brother Carley and I swear everything he says is directly from God. The way he teaches is like he knows exactly what I'm needing to hear in that exact moment and it's something that I'll never forget. I won't do this every email but there's just a couple of spiritual things I want to share really quickly. First of all, Love everyone. This has been getting harder for me as the days go by and I'm with the same people everyday all day. I was reading 3 Nephi 12:44-45 and I loved what it said. Please go read it but I'll share a little bit of what it talked about. It says to Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you. This hit me soooo hard because I know everyone has people in their lives that do some of these things. I know and promise you that as you love those that hate you, and pray for those that use you, your life will be drastically changed and you will notice a feeling that is indescribable. This is probably my new favorite scripture. The last thing is something we talked about in class. It's to hold strong onto what you know. I know sometimes it's hard to be faithful when people around you are doing things you wish you could be doing, or saying things you want to say. But something I've learned is to hold strong onto what you do know and god will make up the rest. I KNOW that this church is true. there may be things I have questions about and things that I am doubtful about. But I know that this church is true and I won't let any of my questions or doubts change that.
