This week was great!! Heres some stats for you all Stats: •Lessons: too many to count •Times working out: 0 •Pictures with random Filipinos: 7 •Baptisms: 1!! We had the baptism of Shyla!!! Ill put pics in the bottom! God is so good. Her family from Bolacan also wants to be baptized and follow her which is a huge miracle.😇 Reason for the title is because I still feel like a celebrity when all of these little filipinos are asking for pics and staring and pointing saying "Americano ba iyan" or "is that an american" I cant wait to get humbled when I come home and none of the girls wanna take a pic w me or stare at me as I walk past them🤣🤣 anywayss 😅 on the more spiritual side I wanna share something I learned about covenants during our baptism. In D&C 82:10 it says "I the Lord am bound when ye do what I say." When we make covenants with Go, he👆 is bound to give us the blessings that he promised us. Which are soooo many. Basic lang iyan haha My own thought that I wanna add there is we can personalize our covenants to God. For example, when were baptized we promise to god that we, Take his name upon us Always remember him Keep his commandments Endure to the end but we can also add promises like: Serve a mission Take his name upon us Always remember him Keep his commandments Endure to the end Thats just an example but if we do this, it means that if we follow our promises to god, we know that he has to keep his end as well and he will always give us the blessings and miracles that he promises to us.
